Building a brand system for a publisher that supports diverse voices

C-House Publications is a new independent publisher dedicated to helping authors publish, promote, and distribute their own works. Serving a diverse range of genres, the company was looking for a visual identity that could unify its offerings while remaining flexible enough to support a diverse collection of books and authors.

The identity needed to avoid being tied too closely to any single genre, allowing it to serve as a recognizable foundation across publications. I partnered with them to create a branding system centered on versatility and longevity.

The main challenge for the identity was to ensure it communicated professionalism and openness while remaining flexible across print and digital platforms. They needed something capable of representing the company and the diverse voices of its authors.

Through competitive research, the brand identity was designed to provide consistency across a variety of touchpoints while allowing individual publications to maintain their own unique character.

The logo was designed to function as a memorable brand marker that could stand out across multiple applications, from digital to printed materials.

The typography became a central component of conveying professionalism and readability while reflecting the company's literary nature.

The final identity strengthens the connection between the publisher, its authors, and its audience while also maintaining enough flexibility to support an expanding catalog of literary works.

The completed brand provides C-House Publications with a professional identity capable of supporting both current and future initiatives. Rising creatives had found their audiences and readers found a new place for their new favorites.
